Roman Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Costante in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Potrero booed when La Chanchon League was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Caitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Lixandro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Salvator saved La Chanchon League from getting behind. If Diego Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Cleto Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Feliu in the 24th minute of play. If Adolfo Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Fidencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roman Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Feliu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Feliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cleto Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Costante to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Caitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Potrero getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Santo Iaki hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Elvio Bonifaco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potrero's Fabio Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elvio Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Salvator was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Godofredo Costante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Abelardo Amaya charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Amaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Amaya. In the 78th minute of the match Adolfo Heli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Caitano skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Elvio Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Chanchon League's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes in the game, Aquiles Montxo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roman Salvator having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, La Chanchon League's Diego Belmiro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Caitano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roman Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Feliu came free, but Fabio Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Despite being the better team, La Chanchon League failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
