After 7 played minutes TANGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Chus. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Hermengildo Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldungaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Estevon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Tonete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TANGO FC's Eriberto Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gilen in the 13th minute of play. Elvio Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Indar having to interfere. If Leonardo Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Indar having to interfere. Braulio Paio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Indar having to make a save. The supporters of TANGO FC booed when Saldungaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Braulio Paio came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the TANGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Paio couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Braulio Paio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the TANGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Paio couldn't finish the play. Elvio Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eriberto Tonete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, TANGO FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Tonete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Estevon. The supporters of Saldungaray booed when TANGO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes, Saldungaray's Bernardo Roderigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Tonete came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saldungaray reached it. 68 minutes into the match, Saldungaray's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Giraldo came free, but Gaston Indar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TANGO FC's Eriberto Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Gilen in the 72nd minute of play. If Elvio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, TANGO FC's Leonardo Giraldo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Indar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Saldungaray's zone, Braulio Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Indar came out of the goal and Braulio Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Eliseo Tono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Indar having to interfere. Leonardo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hermengildo Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Bernardo Roderigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Tonete having to make a save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Elvio Gilen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TANGO FC's Eriberto Tonete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
