Spectators: 7317 (Terracing: 5489, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Godofredo Costante started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roman Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Costante in the 6th minute of play. Elvio Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Belmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Caitano having to make a save. A collision led to Potrero getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Santo Iaki hit a great ball. Fabio Caitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Bonifaco's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Arsenio Lixandro might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Lixandro ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabio Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Bonifaco in the 28th minute of the match. Cleto Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Ritchie's late challenge caught a La Chanchon League's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Ritchie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, one of Potrero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Potrero. Roman Salvator made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Leonel Fidencio sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes La Chanchon League got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Feliu. After some careless play in the Potrero defense, Elvio Bonifaco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Caitano. The Potrero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Caitano should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvio Bonifaco was the one to do the kick off. Arsenio Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roman Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, La Chanchon League's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Lixandro came free, but Roman Salvator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Elvio Bonifaco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Potrero's Fabio Caitano. Fabio Caitano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elvio Bonifaco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Caitano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner ended in Adolfo Heli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Potrero's Fabio Caitano did a great save. In the 69thth minute of the game Elvio Bonifaco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potrero's Fabio Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabio Caitano came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by La Chanchon League's Elvio Bonifaco. But to his dismay, Elvio Bonifaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The long shot by Timoteo Tulio in the 76th minute really tested Fabio Caitano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cleto Feliu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Potrero getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Julio Moise hit a great ball. Arsenio Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Roman Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Bonifaco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Caitano having to make a save. Roman Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Fidencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes La Chanchon League got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Feliu. After 94 minutes of play, Potrero's Arsenio Lixandro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! The La Chanchon League supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Chanchon League would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
