Timoteo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fermin Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Heli in the 19th minute of play forced Piedraitas's goalkeeper Alfonso Reno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timoteo Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Ignacio Roderigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Piedraitas booed when La Chanchon League was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes, Piedraitas's Leon Caitano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roman Salvator came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piedraitas reached it. Alfonso Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Tulio in the 67th minute of play. Diego Belmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alfonso Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Ubarna's late challenge caught a La Chanchon League's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. La Chanchon League's Roman Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Paskal in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Adolfo Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Chanchon League's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Heli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Reno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to La Chanchon League getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fermin Bartoleme hit a great ball. Elvio Bonifaco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alfonso Reno made a huge save. When Diego Belmiro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the La Chanchon League fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Belmiro couldn't finish the play. If Diego Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Chanchon League's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
