But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Tiadoro couldn't finish the play. When Honorato Austin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquilcó's protests and gave Honorato Austin a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Gar had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Apolo Kiliz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Victor Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Manilan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Gar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Tiadoro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Jacinto Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Ranquilcó's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Manilan came free, but Victor Gar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
