After some careless play in the La Chanchon League defense, Higinio Bonadona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Salvator. The La Chanchon League fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Salvator should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Margarita getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Higinio Bonadona hit a great ball. When Higinio Bonadona got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Margarita. After having played for 38 minutes, Froilan Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Ourente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Eleuterio Modestio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Elvio Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Elvio Bonifaco struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Amadeo Otsando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Chanchon League. Froilan Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Salvator having to interfere. Cleto Feliu's late challenge caught a Margarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Feliu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Higinio Bonadona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Ourente in the 67th minute of the match. Margarita's Froilan Ourente got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Chanchon League's goalkeeper Roman Salvator, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cleto Feliu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Higinio Bonadona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see La Chanchon League lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
