Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Lore helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Lixandro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Tonete was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Potrero's Aquiles Montxo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Marcos Bero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 24 played minutes, TANGO FC's Zacarias Chus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Caitano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TANGO FC reached it. Fabio Caitano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zacarias Chus. Godofredo Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Tonete having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind TANGO FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Tonete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 49 minutes, Arsenio Lixandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Lixandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Giraldo made a kick off. It was a well-played corner which Nemesio Mannuel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Arsenio Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Tonete having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, TANGO FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Tonete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Lixandro. Leonel Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, TANGO FC's Braulio Paio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Caitano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godofredo Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Giraldo in the 70th minute of the match. When Leonel Fidencio fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrero's protests and gave Leonel Fidencio a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Fidencio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, TANGO FC's Dalmacio Lore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabio Caitano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The supporters of Potrero booed when TANGO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Eriberto Tonete managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Potrero's Arsenio Lixandro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Godofredo Costante came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Costante couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Giraldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Caitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When Godofredo Costante came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Costante couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Potrero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TANGO FC.
