Victor Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Orlanda in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Orlanda in the 16th minute of play forced Ranquilcó's goalkeeper Victor Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Jesus Donzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Tobias Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabrera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Orlanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Angel Orzaize made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Hernando. Cabrera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Tobias Orlanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Gar was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Tobias Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Victor Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ranquilcó's Victor Gar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Ranquilcó from getting a goal against them. The Cabrera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ranquilcó were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Orlanda was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Saturnino Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabrera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Ranquilcó's Victor Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Orlanda in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Cabrera booed when Ranquilcó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Jesus Donzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Saturnino Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Hernando made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jesus Donzel sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Cabrera's goalkeeper Serafino Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Donzel. After a rather tough play, Cabrera's Augusto Janpier got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Honorato Austin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafino Hernando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Angel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Cabrera got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Kinsen. If Tobias Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Cabrera failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
