Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Tonete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anselmo Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Angel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Atilano Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranquilcó's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ranquilcó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Donzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Donzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Tonete having to interfere. Angel Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jesus Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jesus Donzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Tonete was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Anselmo Abancens charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eriberto Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Silvano Tab fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquilcó's protests and gave Silvano Tab a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Ranquilcó got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Tab. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Giraldo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Gar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Angel Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Tonete came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ranquilcó's Angel Orzaize. But to his dismay, Angel Orzaize quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ranquilcó's Jesus Donzel got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranquilcó's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
