The supporters of Cangrejillos booed when Foolbolito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Gaspard made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Julian Vistruario sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Tallia came free, but Hipolito Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Balendin having to interfere. Hipolito Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Solustiano in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Montrel in the 19th minute of play forced Foolbolito FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Montrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Gaspard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cangrejillos's Hipolito Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Tallia in the 33rd minute of play. Foolbolito FC's Teodosio Tallia got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Fraco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Lino Oalo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Foolbolito FC's Gustavo Gaspard didn't even have to move. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Agustin Montrel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Solustiano was the one to do the kick off. Foolbolito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Vistruario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jose Tirso's late challenge caught a Cangrejillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Tirso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77thth minute of the game Agustin Montrel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foolbolito FC's Gustavo Gaspard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Vistruario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gustavo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
