After a defensive mix-up in Defensa y Justicia's zone, Guillermo Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Donostia came out of the goal and Guillermo Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Quintin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Manuel Donostia made a huge save. If Armando Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Victor Quintin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Manuel Donostia. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Victor Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polvaredas's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Quintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Donostia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Artemio Quirze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Victor Quintin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Donostia. Victor Quintin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Victor Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Liberto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Felipe Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Victor Quintin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensa y Justicia's Manuel Donostia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Quintin in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Donostia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Polvaredas's Teodoro Abechuco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Victoriano Belarmo, made in the 40th minute of the game. After having played for 44 minutes, Victor Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Quintin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Onbera to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Quintin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Donostia saved Defensa y Justicia from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Bero to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Defensa y Justicia got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Iturri. In the 62nd minute, Victor Quintin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Victor Quintin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensa y Justicia's Manuel Donostia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Victor Quintin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Polvaredas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Quintin couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Iturri to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Benet during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Defensa y Justicia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polvaredas:s goal. In the 79th minute Victor Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Donostia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Quintin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Donostia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mauricio Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Quintin in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Donostia saved Defensa y Justicia from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's Victor Quintin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Donostia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Polvaredas's Teodoro Abechuco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victoriano Belarmo in the 92 minute of the game. After having played for 93 minutes, Teodoro Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Manuel Donostia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Polvaredas had played much better football throughout.
