In the 13th minute, Fabian Nikola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Txindoki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Nalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Martin Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Paul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Gero FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Claris. After 42 played minutes Florida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Sugar. After having played for 43 minutes, Jonathan Txindoki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Txindoki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Nalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Nikola in the 45th minute of the match. Martin Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Raebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Florida AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gero FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Nikola to strike the kick off in the second half. Florida AFC's Martin Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ambrosio Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Rios hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Ambrosio Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gero FC defense, Martin Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Raebert. The Gero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Raebert should have stopped the shot. Florida AFC's Ambrosio Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gero FC's goalkeeper Dante Raebert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Nalo having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Gero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Jordy to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Florida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Sugar. 96 minutes into the match, Gero FC's Orlando Senin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Florida AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gero FC for a fine match.
