Enrique Sugar's late challenge caught a Defensa y Justicia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Sugar helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the match, Florida AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Nalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Jurdan. In the 17th minute Danilo Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Onbera to make the kick off. Florida AFC:s Edgard Nalo showed great skill when he stopped Americo Lano:s penalty. Florida AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
