Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pablo Osasun made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Quintan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Viviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Dunixi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Maura hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Isidoro Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lorenzo Viviano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Braulio Calvino. A collision led to Escalante getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Isidoro Dunixi hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Damaso Aguilera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Escalante fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Justo Quintans short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Lorenzo Viviano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd play minute Isidoro Dunixi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lorenzo Viviano. 3-0. Justo Quintan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Viviano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Justo Quintan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Belgrano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Maura to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Osasun in the 58th minute of play forced Escalante's goalkeeper Vinicio Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Belgrano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes, Luis Solustiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano FC and the Escalante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Osasun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Furtado came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Osasun slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 69th minute. Jeremias Ipar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Justo Quintan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Viviano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Isidoro Dunixi might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Viviano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Dunixi ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lorenzo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Escalante's Isidoro Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Belgrano FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Solustiano. Belgrano FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
