The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Irons United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Severino Quintana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Albino Eriz made a huge save. Benito Indars short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Albino Eriz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Lordi was the one to do the kick off. Irons United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
