Belgrano FC's Lorenzo Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Onbera in the 10th minute of play. Ambrosio Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Viviano having to interfere. If Danilo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match Ivan Benet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Viviano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manuel Donostia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Roldanillo came free, but Manuel Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manuel Donostia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Iturri to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Donostia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Osasun in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Belgrano FC's Esteve Bernabel got a free kick in the 39th minute. Defensa y Justicia's Americo Lano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Belgrano FC. Lorenzo Viviano made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ambrosio Jurdan sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Belgrano FC defense, Ambrosio Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Viviano. The Belgrano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Viviano should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Onbera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Manuel Donostia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvio Pello's late challenge caught a Belgrano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Pello helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Defensa y Justicia's Silvio Pello got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pablo Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Donostia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Joaquin Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Defensa y Justicia's Americo Lano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lorenzo Viviano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensa y Justicia reached it. 65 minutes into the game, Edgardo Oinaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Manuel Donostia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manuel Donostia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Osasun came free, but Manuel Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgrano FC's Marcelino Roldanillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Donostia. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute, Danilo Onbera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Viviano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Defensa y Justicia's Manuel Donostia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. Manuel Donostia made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Marcelino Roldanillo sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Onbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lorenzo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Belgrano FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
