The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Candido Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Candelaria's Cristian Enmanuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Rosalio. Danilo Rosalio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Danilo Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Salvidor in the 13th minute of the match. Pedro Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Salvino having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Zacarias Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Samuel Salvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualterio Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Danilo Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Desaguadero got a freekick which was hit by Candido Mannie. Candelaria's Elvio Corderro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Desaguadero. After 30 played minutes Desaguadero got a freekick which was hit by Christian Arano. If Gualterio Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Candelaria! Samuel Salvino had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Marcial Ishmael's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Desaguadero's Marcial Ishmael made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Salvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zacarias Lastur made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Desaguadero's zone, Cristian Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Rosalio came out of the goal and Cristian Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Enmanuel in the 59th minute of play forced Desaguadero's goalkeeper Danilo Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria's Samuel Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Lastur in the 63rd minute of play. Danilo Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Lonzo in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Desaguadero booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candelaria's Gualterio Salvidor got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
