Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hector Luke started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Gilberto Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Gilberto Erramun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Lauaxeta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Lauaxeta having to interfere. Edgardo Mark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Lauaxeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Natalio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Policarpio in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Edgardo Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Candido Policarpio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Erramun shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Natalio Lauaxeta was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Natalio Lauaxeta made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Candido Policarpio sent off a good shot on target. Edgardo Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Lauaxeta having to interfere. When Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossi AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Patxi in the 29th minute of play forced Rossi AFC's goalkeeper Natalio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rossi AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgardo Mark was slow to take the kick. During this time Carolina FC's players had a chance to rest. Candido Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Lauaxeta having to interfere. Tobias Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Natalio Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Erramun was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gilberto Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With his leg Natalio Lauaxeta managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Candido Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Natalio Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Policarpio's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Policarpio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, one of Rossi AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rossi AFC. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Carolina FC. Edgardo Mark stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natalio Lauaxeta. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Candido Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Lauaxeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 played minutes Hector Luke rounded Carolina FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After some careless play in the Rossi AFC defense, Inocencio Garikoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Lauaxeta. The Rossi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. Carolina FC's Inocencio Garikoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Inocencio Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Fausto Sendoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carolina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossi AFC the free kick. After 77 played minutes Carolina FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Sendoa. Gaston Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Luke in the 78th minute of play. Elias Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Candido Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgardo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Rossi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio George to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Edgardo Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Lauaxeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Policarpio's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Hector Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Candido Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Edgardo Mark notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rossi AFC's Natalio Lauaxeta. Natalio Lauaxeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Carolina FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
