After some careless play in the Capdeville FC defense, Tobias Patxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Birila. The Capdeville FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Birila should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute Alvaro Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Alvaro Furman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 30th minute, Fausto Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Candido Policarpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Birila was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Candido Policarpio sped through Capdeville FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nunez Birila. When Candido Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Carolina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Policarpio couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Carolina FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Erramun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Aznar during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Candido Policarpio made the kick off in the second half. Gaston Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nunez Birila. Nunez Birila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Gaston Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Francho in the 61st minute of play. Nunez Birila acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilberto Erramun. After 66 played minutes Carolina FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Garikoitz. In the 68th minute, Inocencio Garikoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Tobias Patxi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carolina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capdeville FC the free kick. Felipe Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Nunez Birila managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Policarpio in the 87th minute of play forced Capdeville FC's goalkeeper Nunez Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes, Carolina FC's Gilberto Erramun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nunez Birila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carolina FC reached it. Gaston Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Furman in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Edgardo Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carolina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Carolina FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
