Samuel Salvino came out of the goal and Candido Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Luzea hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Elvio Corderro from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Gaston Gau's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tobias Patxi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Samuel Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carolina FC. A collision led to Carolina FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edgardo Mark hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Candelaria had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
