Claudio Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Claudio Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Eneas in the 9th minute of the match. Nicanor Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Iker Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Honesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Iker Ayala made a huge save. El Joro's Roberto Ospetsu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iker Ayala but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Claudio Mambru got a free kick in the 21st minute. Zeledon Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iker Ayala was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Iraido. El Joro's Pitin Fresnedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Iyan in the 28th minute of play. Arnaldo Hermelando's late challenge caught a Barcelona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Hermelando helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of El Joro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barcelona FC:s goal. Amadeo Ado took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pitin Fresnedo. Pitin Fresnedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pitin Fresnedo was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Eneas made a kick off. Nicanor Eneas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Ayala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Barcelona FC's Iker Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Honesto in the 57th minute of play. Nicanor Eneas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Eneas scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Ayala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Barcelona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Honesto came free, but Iker Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Gregorio Bitxintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Joro the free kick. In the 81st minute of the match El Joro got a corner. Barcelona FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Iraido ran over to the corner to take the kick. El Joro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Iraido in the 86th minute. Iker Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, El Joro's Gabriel Honesto got a free kick in the 94th minute. El Joro's Pitin Fresnedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save El Joro from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
