Faustino Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mario Foro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pitin Fresnedo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. If Faustino Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Newfire F.C's Mario Foro in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Joro's goalie prevented a goal. El Joro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Foro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Gabriel Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the El Joro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Honesto couldn't finish the play. Faustino Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Newfire F.C's zone, Gabriel Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Elija came out of the goal and Gabriel Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as El Joro's Nicanor Eneas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Elija. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 31st minute, Mario Foro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pitin Fresnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Foro in the 40th minute of play. If Jonatan Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mario Foro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Joro's Pitin Fresnedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Foro in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pitin Fresnedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justo Elija didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Honesto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Foro made a kick off. Mario Foro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Foro got free with Pitin Fresnedo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pitin Fresnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Venerando in the 59th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Newfire F.C got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Oihenarte. In the 62nd minute of the match Bruno Iraido sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Elija skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Eneas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Elija was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Roberto Ospetsu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Joro's protests and gave Roberto Ospetsu a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Ospetsu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Silvano Montrelle hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mario Foro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pitin Fresnedo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Mario Foro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newfire F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Foro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pitin Fresnedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Venerando struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pitin Fresnedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newfire F.C. Mario Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pitin Fresnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Foros short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Pitin Fresnedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88th minute, Faustino Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Higinio Ciano fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Joro's protests and gave Higinio Ciano a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Ciano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Lino Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newfire F.C's protests and gave Lino Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Newfire F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lino Kimetz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Foro in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pitin Fresnedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The El Joro players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
