In the 26th minute, Everardo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Edgardo Guillelmus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores Mansilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Español the free kick. The supporters of Club Deportivo Español booed when Defensores Mansilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Matteo got free with Everardo Gomesano in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores Mansilla FC's goalkeeper Everardo Gomesano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Jurgi might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Gomesano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Jurgi ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Jurgi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Everardo Gomesano. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 69th minute Carolo Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Defensores Mansilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Maju to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Herauso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Club Deportivo Español's Alberto Jurgi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Defensores Mansilla FC's Everardo Gomesano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores Mansilla FC from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Defensores Mansilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Jurgi came free, but Everardo Gomesano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Defensores Mansilla FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Deportivo Español's performance.
