Joel Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Pearson AFC's Eloy Lano pulled a muscle in his leg after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 35 minutes, Angelino Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sepulturas FC and the Pearson AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelino Shantala hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Guillermo Omero, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Pearson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Etxeberri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Sepulturas FC's protests and gave Danilo Roldanillo a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Etxeberri to make the kick off. Baldomiro Kauldi tried in the 55th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Americo Dimo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-3. The supporters of Sepulturas FC booed when Pearson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Egoi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sepulturas FC's Matias Gelmiro. Danilo Roldanillo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pearson AFC's Humberto Etxeberri got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Juan Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Juan Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Pearson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Iratze came free, but Joel Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pearson AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
