Nicasio Sabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Azubeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jairo Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sepulturas FC's Americo Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Sepulturas FC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Juan Tadzio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicasio Sabino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Azubeli to make the kick off. Americo Dimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Azubeli's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Americo Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Gorri in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Sagitario FC's Alfredo Gorri made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Dimo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
