An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gorri in the 7th minute of play forced FC Florida's goalkeeper Mariano Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Florida getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Romeo Teodor hit a great ball. Nicasio Sabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Atarrabi in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gorri in the 12th minute of play forced FC Florida's goalkeeper Mariano Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipe Estevon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicasio Sabino. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Alfredo Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagitario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Gorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sagitario FC's Edgard Pelayo got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Hipolito Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Florida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. If Hipolito Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Pelayo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Pelayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Florida's Hipolito Atarrabi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Arixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Azubeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Sagitario FC's goalkeeper Nicasio Sabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Atarrabi. In the 41st minute Felipe Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Pacorro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Florida getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zacarias Pacorro hit a great ball. 1-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Generoso Azubeli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Felipe Estevon made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sagitario FC's Sergio Breogan got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Azubeli in the 55th minute of play forced FC Florida's goalkeeper Mariano Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Sabino having to interfere. If Generoso Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute of the match, Generoso Azubeli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariano Arixo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfredo Gorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Generoso Azubeli sped through FC Florida's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Arixo. 88 minutes into the match, Sagitario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Estevon came free, but Nicasio Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Rivas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Hipolito Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Florida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Felipe Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
