Modesto Haritzeder hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Pearson AFC's Eloy Lano managed to work through Frisoniano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eloy Lano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Frisoniano's Ermegildo Ferman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Sebastian Goizeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Humberto Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearson AFC's Joel Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gaizko in the 17th minute of play. Sebastian Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Lano in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Bazkoare in the 21st minute of play forced Pearson AFC's goalkeeper Joel Egoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Gaizko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joel Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Silvano Bastiaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ildefonso Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frisoniano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Bazkoare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ildefonso Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frisoniano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Bazkoare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Baltasar Leizarraga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Goizeder. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Etxeberri got free with Sebastian Goizeder in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eloy Lano made the kick off in the second half. Frisoniano's Sebastian Goizeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Lano in the 53rd minute of play. If Eloy Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Frisoniano defense, Humberto Etxeberri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Goizeder. The Frisoniano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Goizeder should have stopped the shot. If Humberto Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Humberto Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Goizeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jesus Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Ildefonso Bazkoare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pearson AFC's Joel Egoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Humberto Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Leizarraga during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frisoniano booed when Pearson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Gaizko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Joel Egoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frisoniano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pearson AFC.
