Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Omar Ieltxu kicked off to start the match. Joel Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Pirro in the 3rd minute of the match. Joel Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 20 played minutes Crucesita got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Cortez. Guillermo Omero, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Crucesita's Felipe Banegas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Crucesita's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Lano came free, but Roman Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Amancio Brion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crucesita and the Pearson AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amancio Brion hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Pearson AFC. Guillermo Omero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roman Gau. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Lano to make the kick off. Blas Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Pirro struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Joel Egoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crucesita. Crucesita's Roman Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Crucesita from getting a goal against them. Humberto Etxeberri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Gau firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pearson AFC's Humberto Etxeberri came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Roman Gau had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Amancio Brion hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Humberto Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Gau having to interfere. Roman Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Lano in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Crucesita's Guido Botello got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Crucesita's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Lano came free, but Roman Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eloy Lano came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Pearson AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Lano couldn't finish the play. Eloy Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Roman Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pearson AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
