Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Ilazki got free with Gavino Cordarryl in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Ideazabal's Genaro Haitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Genaro Haitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ideazabal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Genaro Haitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ideazabal! Fidel Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Leocadio in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Leocadio in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Sabino saved Ideazabal from getting behind. Atilano Benitez charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Benitez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Atilano Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Federico Ilazki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Cordarryl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. During the 23rd minute of the match Atilano Benitez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Atilano Benitez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 23rd minute, Atilano Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ideazabal's Osvaldo Camerino got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fidel Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Abalos in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Alberto Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Cordarryl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fidel Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fidel Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Leocadio in the 39th minute of the match. Fidel Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ideazabal's Fidel Sabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Leocadio in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Enrique Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Leocadio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Sabino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Leocadio's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Enrique Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quilmes Atlético Club's Fidel Ubarna was substituted for Cipriano Munio. A collision led to Ideazabal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alberto Basajaun hit a great ball. Teodoro Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Quilmes Atlético Club's Enrique Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Fidel Leocadio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ideazabal's Fidel Sabino. Fidel Sabino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Quilmes Atlético Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ideazabal.
