Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximiliano Arias kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Calderón AFC's zone, Higinio Manni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Bermund came out of the goal and Higinio Manni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Arias came free, but Urbano Jusepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Virgilio Gaufred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Jusepe. Mercedes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Gaufred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Arias came free, but Urbano Jusepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Higinio Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Bermund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Manni in the 21st minute of play forced Calderón AFC's goalkeeper Jose Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Calderón AFC's Jose Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Manni in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Manni in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Bermund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Calderón AFC's Maximiliano Arias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Norberto Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mercedes's Urbano Jusepe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes from getting a goal against them. Urbano Jusepe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Gaufred in the 38th minute. Mercedes's Urbano Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Arias in the 39th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Manni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Libertad kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Arias in the 53rd minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Urbano Jusepe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Jusepe came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Calderón AFC's Maximiliano Arias. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Urbano Jusepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Calderón AFC's Virgilio Gaufred in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercedes's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute Virgilio Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Jusepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calderón AFC's Jose Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Eudoxio in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raul Ereinotz hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Calderón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Libertad. Augusto Libertad hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Emanuel Eudoxio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jose Bermund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute Emanuel Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emanuel Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Manni's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jose Bermund firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Gaufred's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Jusepe was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Calderón AFC had played much better football throughout.
