Mercedes's Urbano Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Maurin in the 25th minute of play. Raul Ereinotz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Urbano Jusepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Rainerio in the 28th minute of the match. If Emanuel Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleuterio Emeterio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Instituto Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Eudoxio came free, but Iker Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Emanuel Eudoxio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Eudoxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Selmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Maurin's late challenge caught a Mercedes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Maurin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Instituto Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Eudoxio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Fernan Maurin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Manni to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Instituto Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Eudoxio came free, but Iker Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes, Anastasio Rainerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Instituto Fc and the Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Instituto Fc got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Rainerio. Instituto Fc's Anastasio Rainerio got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Anastasio Rainerio off the ground. In the 58th minute, Anastasio Rainerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Selmo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Higinio Manni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Selmo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 73 minutes into the game, Mercedes's Emanuel Eudoxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Iker Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eleuterio Emeterio charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eleuterio Emeterio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, Mercedes's Higinio Manni made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Selmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Instituto Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Manni came free, but Iker Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Instituto Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mercedes.
