Blinders Fc's Ambrosio Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La pelota no se mancha's zone, Jacobo Baudelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Luar came out of the goal and Jacobo Baudelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Jacobo Baudelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Luar. The goal made the score 1-0. 33 minutes into the game, Jacobo Baudelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Luar. Jacobo Baudelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Blinders Fc's Zeledon Cordeal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Luar but with some difficulty. Artemio Macerio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Baudelio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 88th minute, La pelota no se mancha's Hilario Casomiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Hilario Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La pelota no se mancha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
