The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romulo Peio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. If Sergio Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute Octavio Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Celso Phelipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rojo for ever and the Ruca Aitué players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Rojo for ever got a freekick which was hit by Celso Phelipe. A collision led to Rojo for ever getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Celso Phelipe hit a great ball. After 29 minutes, Romulo Peio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rojo for ever's Isaac Misael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulgencio Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Astigar in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Rojo for ever's Isaac Misael got control of the ball when Romulo Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Astigar in the 53rd minute of play forced Ruca Aitué's goalkeeper Fulgencio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rojo for ever's Sergio Astigar got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nestor Ilazki fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruca Aitué's protests and gave Nestor Ilazki a yellow card for diving instead. Saverio Hechter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Isaac Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Ruca Aitué's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Astigar came free, but Fulgencio Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruca Aitué's goalkeeper Fulgencio Corderun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Rojo for ever players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ruca Aitué from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
