Derqui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave san antonio the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Derqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Eneas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, one of Derqui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Castel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Ezkerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Pitin's late challenge caught a Derqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Pitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Geronimo Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Derqui's Fabricio Pero got a free kick in the 39th minute. Carolo Ezkerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Machado in the 46th minute.

Derqui's Carolo Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Castel in the 54th minute of play. Aurelio Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ceferino Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ceferino Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Derqui getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aurelio Loramendi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Castel in the 70th minute of play forced Derqui's goalkeeper Carolo Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Derqui's zone, Delmar Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Ezkerra came out of the goal and Delmar Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derqui's Carolo Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Castel in the 77th minute of play. Eulalio Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Lobo having to interfere. Isidoro Lobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Eneas in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind san antonio's goalkeeper Isidoro Lobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Ezkerra having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
