The Miraflores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Valentin Hitz charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Hitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes FC's Teodoro Txema got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Teodoro Txema kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Paulino Goito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Artal was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Goito to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's Arturo Gumaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Roderigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Goito in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Artal saved Mercedes FC from getting behind. Ubaldo Artal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Crescencio in the 66th minute of the match. If Gerardo Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mercedes FC's Gaston Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Miraflores's Paulino Goito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Artal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 87th minute Gerardo Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ubaldo Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Mercedes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Goito came free, but Ubaldo Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Paulino Goito made a precise shot to the right of Ubaldo Artal. Mercedes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Miraflores walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
