Dionisio Isadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Austin in the 8th minute of the match. Miguel Austin took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Isadore. Dionisio Isadore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dionisio Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Iliana in the 24th minute of play forced Celina CF's goalkeeper Gonzalo Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Ralondo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sotelo booed when Celina CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Faustino Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Hermon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Martin Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Iliana made a kick off. Sotelo were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Celina CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Dei took the corner. The corner led Sotelo's Ricardo Dei to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonzalo Hermon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Martin Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gonzalo Hermon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Jax kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dionisio Isadore made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Feliberto Jax sent off a good shot on target. Martin Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celina CF's Gonzalo Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Iliana in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Iliana in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celina CF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sotelo had controlled the match.
