An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Lopez in the 15th minute of play forced Tilimuqui's goalkeeper Everardo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Lavalle AFC's Robustiano Lopez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Matia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Everardo Matia made a huge save. When Ariel Maju fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavalle AFC's protests and gave Ariel Maju a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Lavalle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Maju. Romeo Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Sabino having to interfere. Tilimuqui's Clemente Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Justino Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Sabino skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lavalle AFC's Augusto Izotz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Everardo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Lopez in the 73rd minute of the match. Everardo Matia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Hermelando in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natalio Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Clemente Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Sabino. Lavalle AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tilimuqui eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
