After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Pascual Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Francesco de Almagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Canor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Líbano got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Mincho. Modesto Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eulalio Canor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Godfredo Mincho fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Líbano's protests and gave Godfredo Mincho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Godfredo Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pascual Chucho came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the San Francesco de Almagro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Chucho couldn't finish the play. If Pascual Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Soin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Rey during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Ulises Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Urki's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Pascual Chuchos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Eulalio Canor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. San Francesco de Almagro's Marcial Urko pulled a muscle in his back after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 24 played minutes Líbano got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Soin. Cleto Salvator's late challenge caught a Líbano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Salvator helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Modesto Nesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Francesco de Almagro and the Líbano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes San Francesco de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Nesto. Oscar Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Cordeiro having to interfere. If Jacinto Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Urki in the 40th minute of play.

Higinio Cordeiro was a little too slow when Oscar Urki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Higinio Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Liberto in the 60th minute. Jacinto Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Canor having to interfere. Jacinto Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jacinto Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Oscar Urki in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pascual Chucho charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Chucho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to San Francesco de Almagro getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pascual Chucho hit a great ball. Oscar Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Higinio Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Líbano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
