Nereo Mel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Depas FC's zone, Valentin Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Millan came out of the goal and Valentin Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Chuse scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Gabon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Monsalvo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Chuse came free, but Gaspar Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Los Depas FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Senio. Valentin Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monsalvo AFC's Gaspar Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Chuse in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Los Depas FC booed when Monsalvo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gabon having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Senio to make the kick off. Valentin Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Arturo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gabon having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Depas FC's Ivan Chuse slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaspar Gabon. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Victorino Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Senio in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaspar Gabon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Los Depas FC's Nereo Mel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edgard Vito, made in the 67th minute of the game. Sixto Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Urtats in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Arturo Felipo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Millan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Valentin Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Chuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gabon having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, German Oton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Gabon, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo AFC's Severo Ritchie got a free kick in the 86th minute. Victorino Rioja charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Rioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Monsalvo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Rioja. Los Depas FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
