Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Ofelio kicked off to start the match. Primitivo Sugoi took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Nuno. Victoriano Nuno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Moreira AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Cresconio came free, but Victoriano Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Moreira AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Independiente's Venancio Milio got control of the ball when Gregorio Nel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Nuno having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Venancio Milio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Independiente's Primitivo Sugoi got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Benedicto Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Milio made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Elias Rosalio sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Sugoi was the one to do the kick off. Benedicto Cresconio came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victoriano Nuno could save by the left post. Victoriano Nuno came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Benedicto Cresconio. But to his dismay, Benedicto Cresconio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 58 minutes, Elias Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moreira AFC and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elias Rosalio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Primitivo Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Victoriano Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. If Primitivo Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Nuno having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Moreira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Rosalio. Ladislao Mambru lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Independiente! Venancio Milio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Ofelio in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Moreira AFC defense, Benedicto Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Nuno. The Moreira AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Nuno should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Independiente eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
