After 17 played minutes capocha got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Marquez. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo AFC's Victorino Rioja got a free kick in the 21st minute. Santiago Damario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Tobias Bizi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gaspar Gabon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for capocha. In the 30th minute of the match capocha got a corner. Monsalvo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melquiades Pudes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led capocha's Melquiades Pudes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaspar Gabon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of capocha booed when Monsalvo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Felipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guaberto Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Damario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
