Maximino Bixintxo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Maximino Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Monsalvo AFC's Valentin Niguel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Bizen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Leonel Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Población fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Santiago couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gaspar Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Niguel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Bizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Felipo in the 28th minute of the match. If Leonel Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Jonathan Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gabon having to interfere. The supporters of Población booed when Monsalvo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Bizen having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marcial Nazario made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Arturo Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsalvo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arturo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Santiago succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 57th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Valentin Niguel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsalvo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Niguel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Bizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Población's Tadeo Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Niguel in the 63rd minute of play. Valentin Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tadeo Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Monsalvo AFC's zone, Marcial Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Gabon came out of the goal and Marcial Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Niguel in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Monsalvo AFC's Gaspar Gabon got control of the ball when Leonel Santiago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Victorino Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Monsalvo AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gabon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Santiago. Gaspar Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Nazario in the 81st minute of the match. Monsalvo AFC's Arturo Felipo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Población was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Hermon to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Monsalvo AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Población to win.
