Diego Lluis took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Pinto. Jesus Pinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Octavio Jaen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Cordarrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Pinto having to make a save. If Octavio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Diego Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Cesaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Lluis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Cesar Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Pinto having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Guillote Football Club's Diego Lluis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillote Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Deportivo Merlo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guillote Football Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
