Marco Meder came out of the goal and Saverio Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Sedeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Javier Caton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 9 de diciembre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eustacio Lehen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ezequiel Gumaro. 9 de diciembre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timoteo Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, 9 de diciembre's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Dominix came free, but Ezequiel Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Sedeni was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Ereinotz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Sedeni in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Bartoleme got free with Ezequiel Gumaro in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Timoteo Irrintzi in the 75th minute really tested Ezequiel Gumaro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ezequiel Gumaro was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Serafin Sedeni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serafin Sedeni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Javier Caton kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Saverio Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 9 de diciembre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Salvidor in the 91st minute of play. Saverio Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Meder having to interfere. 9 de diciembre were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
