Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Etxekopar to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Cornelio Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Sporting Club The Dead got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Panfilo. 78 minutes into the match, Sporting Club The Dead's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Bartoleme came free, but Delmar Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Pascual Panfilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Meder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Canallas RC's zone, Jonas Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Meder came out of the goal and Jonas Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Xabat hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Club The Dead had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
