Severo Vincente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Saverio Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Primo's late challenge caught a 9 de diciembre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Primo helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Patricios FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Primo. A collision led to 9 de diciembre getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fabian Ereinotz hit a great ball. Camilo Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Domingos Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Gumaro having to interfere. Jesus Claus in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezequiel Gumaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Saverio Normando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Vincente having to interfere. The long shot by Cipriano Oriol in the 43rd minute really tested Ezequiel Gumaro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, 9 de diciembre's Ezequiel Gumaro got control of the ball when Jesus Claus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingo Natanael hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Mero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Severo Vincente made a huge save. Ezequiel Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Mero in the 57th minute of the match. Lino Mero took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Gumaro. Ezequiel Gumaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 60th minute Lino Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Guillelme hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Normando got free with Severo Vincente in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Saverio Normando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Vincente. Patricios FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Normando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ezequiel Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Silverio Salvidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Vincente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Saverio Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Patricios FC's zone, Domingo Natanael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Vincente came out of the goal and Domingo Natanael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Normando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Vincente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. 9 de diciembre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
