If Urbano Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Corcovado booed when Arroyito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Mede didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arroyito's Cirilo Oidor got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Martin Madaleno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melquiades Rencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aquiles Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Brais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Rencio having to make a save. If Aquiles Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Senio in the 24th minute of play. Honorio Loiola made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aquiles Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Arroyito were awarded a corner. Constantino Firman went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Corcovado getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jeremias Enetz hit a great ball. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Urbano Senio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Martin Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corcovado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Natalio Mede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Urbano Senio made the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Madaleno in the 57th minute of the match. Martin Madaleno might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Madaleno ran back to his position shaking his head. Melquiades Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute, Aquiles Tartalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbano Loreto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Madaleno came free, but Melquiades Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Martin Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Arroyito's Melquiades Rencio got control of the ball when Florentino Brais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melquiades Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Brais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Melquiades Rencio made a huge save. Florentino Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Madaleno came free, but Melquiades Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Arroyito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corcovado were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
