The supporters of Caldao AFC booed when Corcovado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caldao AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Brais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Honorio Loiola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Bermudo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Marcos Gil fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corcovado's protests and gave Marcos Gil a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Corcovado got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Gil. Florentino Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Elazar having to interfere. When Florentino Brais came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Corcovado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Brais couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Brais was the one to do the kick off. Martin Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salvador Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caldao AFC's Salvador Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A beautiful save bye Caldao AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Salvador Guipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Corcovado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Guipuzkoa helped the player get up and apologised. Salvador Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Florentino Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeremias Enetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Enetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Caldao AFC's Antonio Elazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Brais in the 73rd minute of play. Caldao AFC's Eustaquio Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremias Enetz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Florentino Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Elazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Corcovado's Florentino Brais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Elazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentino Brais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Antonio Elazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Martin Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corcovado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caldao AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Corcovado's much stronger midfield.
