Arsenio Dayam might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Dayam ran back to his position shaking his head. Melquiades Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Berenguer in the 12th minute of play. Isidoro Ignado's late challenge caught a Arroyito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Ignado helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Sainuco got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Ignado. Natalio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Sainuco's goalkeeper Constantino Farias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Tartalo. 38 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Dayam came free, but Melquiades Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Tartalo to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Corderun during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sainuco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! With an all-out effort, Sainuco's Melquiades Rencio threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Dayam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee ignored Sainuco's protests and gave Cosme Casado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Sainuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Casado to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Arroyito's Melquiades Rencio got control of the ball when Filomeno Berenguer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Eugenio Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Rencio made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Filomeno Berenguer sent off a good shot on target. Melquiades Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Dayam in the 97th minute of play. Filomeno Berenguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Rencio having to interfere. Sainuco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
