Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Unión y Amistad's Virgilio Lastur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Honorio Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Unión y Amistad getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jeremias Fe hit a great ball. Freddy Elorri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Perfecto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Freddy Elorri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Perfecto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Honorio Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Martin Madaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Perfecto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th of the match, Freddy Elorri tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dante Perfecto got in the way and made a wonderful save. Albino Nofre hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unión y Amistad's zone, Martin Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Perfecto came out of the goal and Martin Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Perfecto was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Jeremias Enetz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Enetz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Honorio Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unión y Amistad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Blasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Blasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Suarez during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Unión y Amistad got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Suarez. When Freddy Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Corcovado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Elorri couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Elorri to make the kick off. Corcovado were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Unión y Amistad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascual Leoncio took the corner. After a rather tough play, Unión y Amistad's Honorio Blasco got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dante Perfecto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Leoncio in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Corcovado got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Loreto. Martin Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Dante Perfecto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcovado. When Freddy Elorri got free in front of the goal in the 61st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dante Perfecto was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unión y Amistad's goalkeeper Dante Perfecto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unión y Amistad's Dante Perfecto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Elorri in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Unión y Amistad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Fe to maneuver through the defense. Corcovado's Honorio Loiola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Corcovado from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Madaleno in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Perfecto saved Unión y Amistad from getting behind. Corcovado's Jeremias Enetz suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dario Iyan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unión y Amistad's protests and gave Dario Iyan a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Perfecto having to interfere. Dante Perfecto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Martin Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcovado's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Perfecto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Perfecto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
